about US
Need Help Project was created by myself and Swank, the founders of GNDZ KIDZ Project, Inc. ("Grenada's Kids Project") which is a medical charity started in 2016 benefitting Grenada, West Indies. During our time in Grenada, we achieved success in working with various branches of the Grenadian government, including the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Health, to import donations for local schools and the Grenada General Hospital. They also developed several projects with the Pediatrics Ward at the Grenada General Hospital, including a renovation of the “Children’s Playroom”. Volunteers involved in the “GNDZ KIDZ Learn and Play Day” played with children in various hospital wards and taught them the importance of regular daily exercise, healthy diets, good hygiene, and mental health. “OPERATION: SUITCASE” were donation drives where they collected clothing and household items for the communities of True Blue and Queenspark, St. George’s. Over 1,200 lbs of goods were collected during one of the event locations and business sponsors, King Kuts Barber Shop, and distributed to the local neighborhoods from the St. George’s Methodist Primary School. (Recognition of thanks to Dr. Karl and Mrs. Sacha Theodore, Bubbles and Akim, Ms. Lollita Gibson and Faculty/Staff, Dr. Beverly Nelson and Ms. Joanna Humphreys and Sister St. Bernard and Sister Sylvester)

Our continued relationship with Hon. Nickolas Steele and Dr. Francis Martin of the Ministry of Health allowed us to import medical supplies and host the GKP Health Clinic at the St. George’s Methodist Primary School in May 2019!! During the GKP Health Clinic, our team of doctors and medical students saw over 300 patients and provided free medical and ocular exams. Referrals were given to patients that required follow-ups at the local Optometrist or local health clinics. All patients and children received free sunglasses, medical information sheets, dental hygiene supplies, and patient’s requiring ocular correction were provided glasses onsite free of charge. The event was also featured on the Grenada National News. (Recognition of thanks to Hon. Nickolas Steele, Dr. Francis Martin, and Ms. Pauline Peters)
Looking back on what we've accomplished thus far, it makes me smile. It's hard to believe the projects we've accomplished, connections we've made, and that Swank and I started this NGO from an idea to formation on a small Caribbean island five years ago. The work done through GNDZ KIDZ Project was fruitful and rewarding, and as our time in Grenada was coming to an end, we wanted to be able to expand our scope and address the NEEDs in our collective hometowns and abroad to continue to HELP more individuals. As a result, Need Help Project, Inc. was created, with a mission to help your community, wherever it may be.

Looking back on what we've accomplished thus far, it makes me smile. It's hard to believe all the projects we've accomplished, connections we've made, and that Swank and I started this NGO from an idea to formation on a small Caribbean island five years ago. This team effort could not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of Andrew Pandolph and Jacob Flores, who have been with us from the ground floor up and continue to be an integral part of the organization.
